BSF and PMRC
Most of you know we use BSF as our Acronym for the Foundation. But most of you do not know what is PMRC. My wife, Claire, also is a leader of the Philippine Motorcycle Riders Community in the Bicol region where our Foundation is based. This organization, along with its national leadership, ride for joy but also ride for charitable works. Many times the PMRC raise local gifts to share with those who face calamity, economic woes, or hardships of community effect. We are proud to also say BSF will partner with them in the ministry work we do with the children and elderly of this region of the Philippines. We have already jointly worked together with a local school, and we look forward to 2018 expanding the joint effort of our organizations.
2018 Will be a Year of Reflecting
I have decided that this 2018 year BSF will reflect on its organizational goals and the mission God has put before us. We must spend time seeking God for guidance and wisdom as we move forward with our mission to serve kids and administer the Gospel through service with them. There are so many needs, so many desires, and so many thoughts that I want to make sure BSF is reflecting and listening to the One who inspired our organization and those who will continue to support it with us.
Rev. Jay Ramada continues to make an Impact
Perhaps the most ironic thing about the type of service demanded by the religion of Christ is that by serving others, we find our own greatest fulfillment. You will never be more contented than when you help someone else improve his station in life or, more importantly, improve his relationship with the Creator. Reverend Jay faces all types of challenges when he is serving the children in need, and He could not do it without understanding the ultimate sacrifice of the One he represents. His sacrifice alone is enough to humble all of us into His blessed service.
Serving kids is one of the most humbling tasks that can be undertaken. A child looks upon an adult with a care, love, and concern without reservations or per-conceived thoughts that would make them react in any other way but one full of trust. Well, Brother Jay serves these kids in Mindanao with a love that is indeed running over. Keep him in your prayers as you pray for the Be-Somebody Foundation members and the work they do in the Philippines.
12 It was revealed to them that they were not serving themselves but you, when they spoke of the things that have now been told you by those who have preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven. Even angels long to look into these things.
The Be Somebody Foundation, along with partners like Reverend Jay, have one function in mind and that is to serve others on behalf of our Service to God. We believe the Truth must be told to all who thirst after it. Our service is not to indoctrinate but simply to carry the Good News to the gentile areas of the world who may not have had the opportunity to hear it.
