Rice For Souls Christmas Blessing-Rev. Jay
Once a year we will do especial blessings ( Rice for Souls ) to the neglected and poorest among the poor people and children in the remote and critical areas. We will be distributing Rice, Foods, Clothing, Toys, Noodles and Sardines, ect. We have target to bless 200 poorest among the poor families. i noticed some children don't have sleepers and the Lord touched my heart to bless them also with this small gift this month of compassion and love. Mostly of the church leaders here laughing at me because they feel that i am wasting my time but i am never discouraged. i read the word of God in Proverbs 19:17 it says, He who has pity on the poor lends to the Lord, and He will repay what he has given. Also in 1 cor. 15;58 it says our labor is not in vain in the Lord............
Feeding Souls in Word and Substance
Those accessing our site may wonder why there is so much emphasis on feedings. Well, the truth is millions of Filipino kids are hungry and malnourished.
Many family members live off of one U.S. dollar a day or at today's peso rate of 48 pesos to the dollar. Their families do the best they can, but it is not enough. You have often heard the American folklore that says the way to a person's soul is through his stomach. That can be so true. When they eat, they have less to worry about and more to think about. Reflection should be about the other important ingredient and that is nourishment of the soul. These photos represent 1) school feeding, 2) street feeding, 3) tribal feeding, 4) community feeding, and 5) a simple appeal to the hearts of any who are hungry.
Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.
Acts 2:46-47 | NIV |
Let the Children come!!
Luke 18:16 But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.
Marawi, Rev. Jay assists those in need!
All of us have prayed over the events in Marawi. As you can see, the evacuation and impact on all especially women and children while the Philippine government fought the terrorist. God Bless Rev. Jay and those who helped to aid and comfort those Muslim souls who were impacted so adversely from this terror. Be Somebody Foundation is proud of the work our Saints of God do in this dangerous territory.
Reverend Jay in Action for the Lord!
Suffering hardships and difficulties. Reverend Jay is determined to doing ministry in his region in order to reach more souls to Christ and building God's Kingdom for eternity.
This photo was taken during a school ministry in one of the critical areas of the Philippines. Bless his heart and having God's protection, he does not have to fear in spreading the gospel because He, as all of us do, believe that we are in the last days. Jesus is coming very very soon.
Rev. Jay is not without his own suffering informing me "My kids stopped in school because of my financial problem. Last month my kids are sickly because of lack of vitamins. Please continue to pray this ministry and God's provision in the mission."
God will meet Reverend Jay where he is at because God always provides enough. But let's keep praying for more, either from those who support the ministry or from those who simply care.
